Antonietta Alvarez is a PhD student broadly interested in metabolic provision, waste clearance of the brain, and vascular health as potential frameworks to understand psychiatric and neurologic disorders. Her goal is that such frameworks will provide biomarkers and phenotypes for these illnesses, to serve as mechanistic explanations for affect, behavior, and cognition (broadly).
