Adult Changes in Thought (ACT) Research Program – CB Clinical
This project develops digitial cognitive assessments for the Adult Changes in Thought (ACT) study that the last 3 decades has enrolled and followed several thousand older adults who receive care as Kaiser Permanente Washington members, creating unique and comprehensive longitudinal data sets that can support a wide array of research on factors that affect brain aging.
ACT is a classic cohort study embedded in a large integrated health care delivery system. Supported by a grant from the National Institute on Aging, our rigorous, population-based clinical and epidemiologic research combine under 3 projects and 6 cores, with extensive forays into basic biologic science and technology research.
