Enhanced environments for psychophysical evaluation and training
This project seeks to test how gamification and virtual reality can improve validity of speech
in noise tasks in regard to self-report of hearing difficulties.
Specific Aim (s): Aim 1: To determine whether tests in more realistic environments better predict self-reported experience than do standard tests.
Aim 2: To determine whether gamification improves data quality and/or relationship with self-report.
Aim 3: Modeling how individual factors predict how enhanced environments are related to performance and self-report.
