This project compares a number of approaches to auditory training to examine individual differences in outcomes on speech in noise listening abilities in older adults. With the following aims: This project compares a number of approaches to auditory training (AT) to examine individual differences in outcomes on speech in noise listening abilities in older adults.

Specific Aim (s): Aim 1: Determine how AT on different stimulus types leads to different AT outcomes.

Aim 2: Determine how different AT training structures leads to different AT outcomes.

Aim 3: Determine consistency of AT outcomes, moderators and mediators between younger and older adults.

Aim 4: Create an AT platform that facilitates faithful replication and modelling.
