The Sexual Violence Resource Center, University Health and Counseling Services, and university clergy are all confidential resources. Contact information for these and additional resources is listed below. You should speak to whomever you feel most comfortable.

File a report
The Office for University Equity and Compliance is responsible for investigating all complaints of discrimination or harassment. Any member of the Northeastern community who believes that they have been discriminated against is strongly encouraged to report the incident promptly. All incidents can be reported at the link below, regardless of the type of discrimination.
Reports may also be filed anonymously at the link below.
All faculty and staff are considered “responsible employees” and are required to report information to the Title IX Coordinator.
File a criminal complaint
Community members impacted by sexual violence are strongly encouraged to report all allegations of Prohibited Offenses to NUPD as soon as possible, regardless of where the offense took place.
NUPD can:
- Escort the affected party to a local hospital;
- Provide full investigation of reports by specially trained officers;
- Offer information about criminal prosecution and University disciplinary alternatives;
- Accompany and provide transportation to all court sessions both on and off campus;
- Offer assistance in obtaining a Harassment Protection Order; No Contact Order; and/ or Restraining Order through the appropriate system.
