GlobeMed Annual Gala 2022

40 Leon Street, Boston, MA, 02115

GlobeMed at Northeastern is a student-run organization that partners with a grassroots organization in Masaka, Uganda, called the Twesiga Mukama Federation. Currently, we are working with the Federation to improve water sanitation and hygiene conditions in a region of Uganda with historically poor water access. We aim to do so through daily fundraising and advocacy events, such as our Annual Gala.

The Annual Gala highlights the work we do with our partner organization and initiates conversations within our local community about important health issues and disparities, including mental health. At this Annual Gala, a respected professor of the Northeastern community, Dr. Vanessa Johnson, will discuss the mental health of college students and communities abroad. We hope you can join us!
