Oona Gaffney is a Master’s Student in the Environmental Science and Policy Program. She received her BS in Environmental Science from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. In her professional endeavors she has worked across sectors in government environmental review, impact-driven research incubation, and in the Massachusetts State legislature. Each of these different experiences have brought new insights and perspectives on how to tackle and address pressing environmental and climate challenges. At Northeastern, Oona is interested in learning more about the role that government and policy can play in mitigating the impacts of climate change and building a more sustainable society.
