Davis Miller is a Master’s student in the Environmental Science and Policy Program. He received a BS in Chemical Engineering from UMass Amherst in 2017. While there he completed an undergraduate thesis related to biofilm structure, with the intent to better inform wastewater treatment processes. The project inspired his professional work as a Research Engineer, assisting in the development and implementation of novel wastewater technologies for resource recovery. Now at Northeastern, he hopes to expand his knowledge and exposure in the environmental world, particularly related to water resources and pollution, gaining new perspectives on what guides environmental decision-making.
