Workshop on ”Combinatorics, at the crossroads of Algebra, Geometry, and Topology”

The Mathematics Department will host a one-day workshop on the topics ”Combinatorics, at the crossroads of Algebra, Geometry, and Topology” on September 23, 2016. The list of speakers includes many internationally known experts in the field, and can be viewed at this link: .

The workshop will be organized by Professor Alex Suciu and Dr. Ivan Martino, who has just taken up the position of Zelevinsky Research Instructor. The workshop will link to a subsequent Special Session of the AMS Meeting to be held at Bowdoin College over the weekend September 24-25.
