The College of Science has awarded the Dean’s Graduate Student Excellence Award in Teaching to PhD student Chen He, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the teaching mission of the Mathematics Department and the College of Science. Chen will receive the award at a ceremony on Thursday, April 20, 2017, 10:00am-12:00pm in The Cabral Center, John D. O’Bryant African American Institute. Chen is planning to complete his PhD in Mathematics this spring, and he will take up a postdoctoral position in Beijing starting in Fall 2017.
