The National Science Foundation has awarded a three year grant to Professor Ivan Losev to fund his research on “Representation Theory of W-Algebras, Rational Cherednik Algebras, and Quantized Quiver Varieties”, starting in June 2015.

Professor Losev and his research group will study the representation theory of various quantum algebraic structures originating in physics and having numerous connections to geometry. Questions to be studied include classifying the representations and computing their key invariants such as dimensions and characters.
