Prof. Hall speaks at EMPathy Symposium

Professor Judith Hall presented a talk entitled “Empathy and Accuracy in the Clinical Encounter” at the annual EMPathy Symposium at the American Psychological Association on August 8th, 2014. This symposium, on emotion, motivation and personality (hence EMP), was endowed by the late Charles Spielberger to foster exchange and cross-fertilization of ideas between prominent researchers in different APA divisions. The outgoing presidents of the divisions representing social/personality psychology, experimental psychology, and clinical psychology each invite one scholar to represent his/her respective field. The presenters this year were Lisa Parr (Emory University), Ian Gotlib (Stanford University), and Prof. Hall.
