The chapter has held numerous activities and events including workshops about science careers and graduate school, science demonstrations in local high schools, talking with prospective students during open house activities on campus, and drafting and signing a petition to the Massachusetts State legislators to resolve the Sequester and restore funding to biomedical research.

The chapter will be recognized during the Education Award Lecture on Sunday, April 21, at 12:30PM during the ASBMB Annual Meeting in Boston.
