New BS/PhD Program Offers Cheaper, Faster and Better Track to Research Career

A new Physics BS/PhD program allows Northeastern undergraduate physics majors to continue on to a PhD in physics. The program uses undergraduate course sharing  to enter the research phase of the PhD program approximately one year early relative to the traditional entering PhD students. Undergraduate students who have completed a research co-op in the department may also choose to continue that research, allowing them to effectively start their PhD research while undergraduates. For a  formal program template listing the course requirements, including templates for our other programs, visit our degree programs page.
