National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow

In Fall 2015 we will welcome Robin Walters to the Mathematics Department. Robin is a recent graduate of the University of Chicago, and he has been awarded a prestigious National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship in Mathematics, with sponsoring scientist Professor Valerio Toledano Laredo. This Fellowship provides generous research funding over a three year period, and Robin will use his Fellowship to work with Professor Toledano Laredo on mathematical problems in geometric representation theory, with applications to mathematical physics and singular spaces. The NSF awarded 42 postdoctoral fellowships in Mathematics this year, and we are very pleased that Robin has chosen to work at the Northeastern Mathematics Department.
