An MSC graduate student, Tanya Rogers of the Kimbro Lab, found some unusual marine organisms on a Nahant beach during post-storm cleanup. A natural history guide published tin 1907 helped her confirm their identity. These marine invertebrates are typically found below the tide line buried in firm sediments, and are rarely seen except washed up after large storms.
