The Simons Foundation has awarded a five year grant to Professor Alexandru Suciu to fund his research on the “Geometry and Topology of Cohomology Jump Loci”, starting in September 2015. Professor Suciu is a top-cited researcher in geometric topology, and he will use this funding from the Simons Foundation to support his collaborations with other research groups in the US and around the world.
