The Barnett Institute of Chemical and Biological Analysis along with the College of Science hosted the Inaugural Dr. Richard Saferstein Award in Forensic Science Lectures.
Dr. Saferstein had sponsored the Saferstein Lecture Series for years, bringing some of the most renowned scientists in their field to Northeastern for a two-day talk. Saferstein died in July 2017.
