Recently, Professor David DeSteno was featured in a an article on the College of Science website about his talk at this year’s PopTech conference, entitled “Emotional Intelligence for Success”. In the talk, he questions what underlies success and proposes the power of emotions- gratitude, compassion and pride – versus more traditional cognitive strategies in positively influencing greater success in our professional and emotional lives.
