On Wednesday, May 4, the Program in Behavioral Neuroscience held its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2016! We were fortunate to have Dr. Arthur Kramer, Senior Vice Provost for Research and a distinguished neuroscientist whose recent research focuses on understanding and enhancement of cognitive and neural plasticity across the lifespan. In addition to distributing certificates to all of our graduates and recognizing those soon-to-be alumni members of Nu Rho Psi National Honor Society in Neuroscience, we presented special awards to a number of outstanding seniors:
Alex Skavenski Award for Excellence in Behavioral Neuroscience: Noa Golan, Safiya Lahlaf
John Armington Memorial Award: Safiya Lahlaf
Outstanding Service Recognition: Jessica Mecklosky, Ralph Peterson
Several of our graduates also received University awards, for which we offered our congratulations at the ceremony as well!
