Northeastern Professors Ana-Maria Castravet and Alina Marian are co-PI’s on the recently-awarded multi-institutional AGNES program. This program, funded by the National Science Foundation, supports the bi-annual conference series “Algebraic Geometry in the Northeast” which is held on a rotating basis at various institutions. Partner institutions include UMASS Amherst, Boston College, Brown University, Rutgers and Stony Brook. Northeastern University will host the AGNES conference during Fall 2017.
