Our department offers both PhD and MS degrees in Mathematics. In addition, we offer two programs in applied mathematics: an MS in Applied Math and an MS in Operations Research.

PhD in Mathematics

The PhD in Mathematics has three possible tracks: Pure Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, and Probability/Statistics.

MS in Mathematics

The program is designed to prepare graduates for careers in business, industry, or government.

MS in Applied Mathematics

The MS in Applied Mathematics is designed to address the needs of those who are seeking to enter or are currently working in a variety of applied math careers.

MS in Operations Research

This program seeks to train students in the basic techniques and theory of operations research and their applications to real-world problems.
