Mathematics is of ever-increasing importance to our society and everyday life. It has long been the language of science and technology, and provides a rich source of methods for analyzing and solving problems encountered in the physical world.

Our department offers an BA and a BS in Mathematics as well as combined majors and a minor in Mathematics.


Our department offers both PhD and MS degrees in Mathematics. In addition, we offer two programs in applied mathematics: an MS in Applied Math and an MS in Operations Research.
