Students can pursue a major or minor in linguistics as well as one of the combined majors. The combined majors allow students to pursue their interests in two related fields simultaneously, with some courses in the curriculum that integrate the two disciplines.

BS in Linguistics

The Linguistics major gives students strong foundations in linguistics at social and structural levels.

Combined Majors

The Department of Linguistics offers several combined majors across the university.

Linguistics Minor

The linguistics minor can be a good fit in addition to many other majors in and out of the College of Science.
