Advising

Students in the Linguistics Program at Northeastern have access to three advisors as they plan out their undergraduate education, please see below:

Academic Advisor for Linguistics

The Academic Advisor works with students to help ensure that they fulfill all of the requirements for their degree. The Academic Advisor can also help with general course selection, questions regarding registration, planning the timing of Co-op and Study Abroad experiences, and mapping out a graduation plan.

Faculty Advisor for Linguistics

The Faculty Advisor is a professor in the Linguistics Program and helps students with planning and registration questions related to their major. The Faculty Advisor can also answer field-specific questions that students may have: What are the career opportunities in the field or related fields? What types of courses offer the best preparation for a particular career path or graduate program?
