Science is hard. Building a business based on science is harder. Join us in conversation with three remarkable women entrepreneurs and scientists to discuss their journey through entrepreneurship, as they tackle some of the world’s biggest problems.

Our webinar will be moderated by Tobe Chima, Co-Director of the Women’s Interdisciplinary Society of Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University, and will include:

New Equilibrium Biosciences is dedicated to aiding the development of new medicines through cutting edge science and cross–disciplinary collaborations. We leverage our computational–experimental platform to discover lead drug candidates that regulate intrinsically disordered proteins implicated in cancers and neurodegenerative disorders.

Lucy Therapeutics, Boston-based biotech with a unifying mitochondrial platform, is developing small molecule treatments for neurological diseases along with a unique peripheral mitochondrial biomarker. Their platform has led to the discovery of targets which can improve central energetic dysfunctions and address complex organ symptoms selectively in diseased vs. healthy cells. LucyTx interrogates complex biology with well-defined molecules to answer key questions about the pathways critical for disease modification.

Sofregen, Inc. provides medical practitioners with natural biomaterials to enhance their surgical artistry and achieve more durable results for their patients. They are focused on unlocking the enormous potential of purified silk protein to facilitate soft tissue regeneration for a range of aesthetic procedures and surgeries.
