PSM Biotech alumnus Shashank Sunkara presented at the 2016 DiPIA (Developments in Protein Interaction Analysis) conference in Germany this past June. Over 220 scientist from 24 countries attended the conference to learn about the latest applications, results, and troubleshooting tips in biomolecular interaction analysis. Shashank’s presentation, entitled “Characterization of Biosimilars by SPR”, outlined strategies for biosimilar characterization utilizing various SPR methods and summarized challenges associated with day-to-day variability and statistical evaluation of data. He noted that at the conference he was exposed to numerous new practices in industry and obtained new ideas to bring back to his workplace.
